Nowhere was the buzz stronger than the recent Marangoni Fast Show at Santa Pod where. 15,000 motoring enthusiasts thronged the UK's top drag strip, and witnessed title-sponsor Marangoni setting the theme with a pacey, informal and involving roadshow. It was petrolhead heaven with hundreds of high-octane cars on show, including the mighty Progetto Marangoni Toyota Yaris and the first public outing for the sensational Marangoni Drift cars. Marangoni's 'hand's-on' approach proved massively popular, particularly the Pit Stop competition with its top prize of a white-knuckle ride down the strip in the Santa Pod 2-seater dragster - won by Gary Longwith from Chilcompton, Radstock, Somerset. Fun was at the top of the agenda with a resident DJ, non-stop music, Marangoni giveaways and the jaw-dropping glamour of the Marangoni girls. Going technical, there were Marangoni experts on hand to answer the toughest tyre questions and the opportunity to discover the internationally acclaimed, top performing Marangoni UHP Zeta Linea and Mythos tyres.
